These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Dinamont Books ("the App"), provided by Dinamont (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
Dinamont Books is a bookkeeping and business management tool for South African businesses, providing quoting, invoicing, bank reconciliation, receipt capture, project costing, payroll, and SARS-related calculators and reminders.
Dinamont Books is NOT a registered tax practitioner, accountant, auditor, or law firm, and does not file returns or submit information to SARS or any other authority on your behalf. Tax, PAYE, VAT, and similar calculations shown in the App are estimates based on published SARS rates and formulas at the time the calculator was built; they must be independently verified before you rely on them for any filing, payment, or business decision.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorised to act on behalf of the business you register to use the App.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
New accounts receive a free 15-day trial, during which all features are available regardless of subscription tier. After the trial ends, continued access to certain features requires an active paid subscription at one of the published plan tiers.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, verifying any tax or payroll calculation before relying on it, complying with applicable South African law, and keeping appropriate backups of your data.
You may not use the App to store or process unlawful content, attempt to breach the App's security, reverse-engineer the App, or use the App in a way that could harm other users or Dinamont (Pty) Ltd.
The App, its design, and its underlying software remain the property of Dinamont (Pty) Ltd. The business data you enter remains your own property; we claim no ownership over it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dinamont (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, including losses resulting from reliance on a calculation, reminder, or estimate provided without independent verification. The App is provided "as is".
You may stop using the App and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
